Katrina Kaif: Salman Khan's one of kindest soul!: They may not be together anymore as a couple, but Katrina Kaif and Salman Khan  still share remarkable bonhomie.
Both of them have admitted that they continue to remain friends despite their break-up. Now, Katrina has opened up more and said in an interview to Harper's Bazaar that Salman holds a special place for her.

“Whatever has been said, has been said. Beyond that there is my private space.

I don't want to talk about that…Of course, we're friends. Salman will always be an extremely important person in my life no matter what happens. He's one of the kindest souls anyone can ever have the privilege of meeting,” Katrina is quoted to have said.

Katrina recently shot a qawwali with Salman for Farah Khan’s film Tees Maar Khan. There weren’t any negative vibes between the two during the shoot.

The actress will also be seen sporting washboard abs in the song Sheela Ki Jawani in the film. Katrina said that she was inspired by Britney Spears to acquire the abs.

“When I was 15, I saw Britney Spears' Satisfaction, with her wearing a small top, her abs showing, I said to myself one day I am going to wear something short and I want my abs to look this good,” she said.

Now, this news was followed by a tsunamic mayhem as the entire tabloid world seemed to turn topsy turvy each invading Salman and Katrina with an annoyingly intrusive mike and a barrel of questions. The sight of a struggling Katrina before a herd of paparazzi was indeed pitiable.

But if that was not all, the media continued to play games questioning the absence of Katrina from the Dabangg special screening. Eyebrows were raised again when Farah Khan roped in Salman for a quawwali number alongside Katrina (and Akshay who is insignificant in our discussion) for her ‘Tees Maar Khan’.

And Katty was probed yet again about her feelings shooting with Salman. But like a one who has truly learnt her lesson, this time she fired back with, “What was the fuss all about? It was like shooting with any co-star one is comfortable with. For those who expected fireworks… Sorry guys, please wait until Diwali.”
But despite her bold retort, the media shall continue to poke into their privacy and will neither rest nor let them rest. That’s a guarantee…

Now Kareena Kapoor work with Salman Khan for her next:  After brother Arbaaz Khan, it’s now the turn of sister Alvira Khan to turn producer.

With her husband Atul Agnihotri she is making a film titled Bodyguard, and no prizes for guessing who will be the hero. Salman Khan  will play a handsome but funny bodyguard to a beautiful girl in the film which is a remake of hit Malayalam film with the same name.

The producer duo has signed Kareena Kapoor to play that beautiful girl and thus the rumours about Katrina Kaif being the leading lady has fizzled into thin air. According to Atul, Bebo fits the bill as the character is of a cheerful and bubbly girl. When he saw the original film which had Nayantara playing the role, he was convinced about Kareena being the perfect choice.

Salman and Bebo are not considered a hit pair. The duo’s last two films Kyunki and Main Aur Mrs Khanna couldn’t woo the viewers to box office.

Bodyguard will be directed by Siddique who has directed the original and will go on floors by December this year. Last we heard Bebo is thrilled about this film with Salman.

After getting unceremoniously dumped by Aishwarya Rai (who, at the time, felt that Salman was invading her personal space and creating scandal), Salman steered his romance wagon towards a foreign babe who was soon to become the hot and happening Katrina Kaif.

Salman has invested 7 precious years of his life in Katrina and recently the tinsel world was abuzz with him revealing his break up with Kat. Though, the gossip galleries are resonant with whispers of a reunion some feel that Katrina had never loved Salman and was, merely, using him as a platform to launch her own career.

At least, one big mouthed Rakhi Sawant surely feels so. She opens her mouth to lash out, “Girls just come to Salman to make their careers and once they are done with their job, they leave him. Salman bas charity karta reh jaata hai. I feel so sorry for him. Bechara har baar pyaar mein dhoka kha jata hai.”

Ahem….Ahem…though, Katrina, herself, has become a mega star and commands a huge male following, Rakhi’s audacious comments may find some support from the so-called ‘aam janta’ (common man) especially those who are big Salman fans. However, each is entitled to his or her opinion as no one, not even me, is aware of what actually took place in the confines of their four walls.

Katrina Kaif now suddenly decided to work with Salman Khan: One of Bollywood’s most legendary romances could well be rekindling. Katrina Kaif, they say, has gone back to Salman Khan.

Not so long ago, both Katrina and Salman were shouting from the rooptops that they were single. “But not anymore.

They have reconciled their differences and are back together as a couple,” says a source. One good indication of this patchup is Bodyguard, Salman’s sister Alvira’s directorial debut, slated for Eid 2011, now a pretty auspicious date for the Khans given the stupendous success of Dabangg.

Sources confirm that Katrina is slated to play the female lead.

Alvira always wanted Katrina for Bodyguard, but Sallu and Kat parted ways. In the interim, she approached Asin but it didn’t work out. Salman, despite his ‘split’ with Katrina, has green-lit his sister’s foray into direction, with Kat opposite him.

Alvira’s husband, Atul Agnihotri, said, “To be frank, there’s no one we’d like to see more in this film than Katrina. The truth is that neither Salman nor her has any inhibitions about working with each other. In fact they are already doing a song for Farah Khan’s film. This goes to show how thoroughly professional they both are. We should be ready to make an official announcement about the casting in a couple of days. The only hitch may be Katrina’s dates, which are still being worked out. We have already decided on an Eid release so everything is being worked backwards from this proposed release date. We’re trying to sort things out and are hoping for the best.”

Is it love again for these two then? Surely it’s been a difficult time for Katrina; despite her alleged dalliances with some co-stars, she cuts a lonely figure in the corridors of tinsel town. Salman, after all, has truly nurtured her talent from her struggling days; it is a gratitude Kat can’t seem to ignore. Likewise, the split was never acrimonious, even by Sallu’s turbulent standards: neither badmouthed the other. So much so, that Katrina even recently broke down when her broken relationship with Salman was probed into at a recentlyheld press conference.

From what we hear, Salman is equally happy to have Katrina back in his arms. In fact, he now wants to settle down with Kat as the buzz goes. Says a source, “Salman’s ego might not have allowed him to say so publicly, but he has invested nearly seven years in Katrina now. He may have had his share of flings, but he wants to marry Katrina eventually.”

Salman busy with Katrina at 'Tees Maar Khan' Qawwali shoots: Salman Khan is riding the crest of fame with the super success of his latest film Dabangg and everyone is eager to know what will keep Salman busy next.

So here’s the interesting dope. Salman would next begin shooting for a qawwali song with Akshay Kumar and ex girlfriend Katrina Kaif for director Farah Khan’s film Tees Maar Khan.

The shooting will begin in a week’s time.

Farah Khan, who will also choreograph the qawwali, says that though the media has been talking about her doing a special song with Salman, she hadn’t actually planned it thus. She even joked with Salman about it.

But then, what was written in the media caught Farah’s fancy and she decided to turn the rumours into reality by actually doing a song with Salman. The rest, as they say, is history.

Once Farah bounced the idea, Salman was game for the qawwali.

But it’s Salman’s jugalbandi with Katrina that will have the fans hooked.

Well, after it was soaked in by the media, came reports about how Kat had missed the special screening of Salman Khan’s ‘Dabangg’, at a theatre in Bandra, Mumbai.

Soon the gossip columns were abuzz with talks of Kat being very close to Salman’s sis, and how his sis advised Salman not to talk about Kat in public.

So, the lady recently held a special screening of Raajneeti for Sallu’s family and guess who she impressed the most? - Salman’s dad, the celebrated writer Salim Khan.

As Kat is in Spain shooting for Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara; director Prakash Jha confirmed it to a daily that Salim Khan saw the film at a show especially arranged by Kat.

Later Salim Khan even called Kat to praise her mature, restrained performance.

After conducting the screening, Kat is quoted to have said, “I wish all these speculations on my personal life would end.

Salman’s family is the only family I’ve known in Mumbai.

That can’t change. Of course I wanted Salim Saab to see Raajneeti for a very special reason. He has seen my struggle in Bollywood from the start. He’s very proud of me.”

If you are thinking what is Salman’s take on Kat’s performance in Raajneeti, well, he wasn’t present for the screening! Shocking though it may seem, the actor apparently doesn’t watch Kat’s films; he has seen none of them. Amazingly, he tweeted that he would like to watch Raajneeti.

Katrina Kaif And Salman Khan Big Screen News: The latest buzz from B-town is that real-life couple Katrina Kaif  and Salman Khan have been offered to portray the Bachchans on the big screen. What a weird idea, who would want to see this movie? But brace yourselves Kat and Sallu fans, it gets weirder!

The on-and-off-screen couple wouldn't portray Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and her hubby Abhishek Bachchan, they would play Amitabh and Jaya Bachchan! Why would Katrina and Salman ever agree to such a crazy idea? And what would this movie talk about? We are confused!

But wait, it gets crazier - as if this wasn't crazy enough! According to the buzz, Katrina would portray Big B and Salman would play Jaya. We do like alternative movies with a plot twist or two, but this is just odd! Seeing Salman play Big B and Katrina play his wife Jaya could at least have been humorous, but the other way around? It doesn't sound like a movie a lot of fans would enjoy.

But who knows? Maybe the film will turn out to be hilarious. After all, Big B and Abhi did something similar in the movie Paa in which Abhishek played the father and Amitabh his son. It seems like the Bachchans are really into these types of movies! Getting the look for Bachchan senior's role was a very complicated affair.

Big B even took to his blog to explain how much fun he had: "my rituals today were guided by the extensive hours at the studio, a major portion of which were in front of the makeup mirror, getting the face plastered with silicon. It took 4 hours for it all to come on and another hour to take it off. "
