Indian Actress Sonam Kapoor and Anil Kapoor will work together: After a film like Love Sex Aur Dhokha, what’s next for director Dibakar Banerjee?

The buzz has it that the maverick director is interested in signing Sonam Kapoor with Abhay Deol and is also in talks with Anil Kapoor to play a crucial role in his next film.

If this happens, then the father-daughter duo will come together for the first time on big screen.

From what we learn, Dibakar is planning a film on an old book titled 'Z', written by a Greek author.

The film is going to be a political thriller with the title Shanghai. Though the script is still being worked upon, Anil has apparently been approached for a negative character which he has liked immensely. So far Anil has avoided working with Sonam, even though many producers want them to portray father and daughter in their films. But a Dibakar Banerjee film is different. Anil seems to be highly impressed with what he has heard.

It’s learnt that Dibakar has spent nine months to shape up this film and unlike his other projects, this movie will have violence. This movie is going to be co-produced by PVR Pictures and will go on floors by March 2011. Dibakar has already worked with Abhay, so signing him will not be a big deal.

Let’s wait and watch if Sonam comes into the picture or not.

Sonam Kapoor And Her Dad Anil Kapoor Dream Project 'Aisha': Sexy hot lasso Sonam Kapoor, for the 1st time in her still young career, gets to rub shoulders with her dad cum veteran actor Anil Kapoor who, not only has been serving the Indian film industry for decades, but has, recently tasted international fame with his Oscar-winning film Slumdog Millionaire.

In her forthcoming venture, Sonam does get a morsel of Anil since ‘Aisha’ being their home production, both Sonam and Anil are aboard on the same boat. However, Sonam does harbour a secret desire. She wants to do a flick alongside dad Anil but she has laid down a certain condition.

She maintains that she shall be teaming with him only in case; she gets to do a film of the genre of the iconic ‘Father of the Bride’.

Speaking her mind out, she dismisses reports of any current celluloid liaison and cites, “As of now dad and I haven’t got any offers, but if someone wants to cast us together, then ‘Father of The Bride’ is the cue!”

The film in question is a Hollywood movie that starred Steve Martin and told a story spun around the emotions of a father and her beloved daughter. We do hope, Sonam does get her dream fulfilled………

Sonam Kapoor News: Bollywood actor Sonam Kapoor is perhaps one of those lucky gals who have their dad is all time support, no matter which part of the world they are in.

Reportedly, the starlet was in Vancouver, recently, where the shooting for the Anees Bazmi film ‘Thank you’ is being shot. As she is playing the role of a gal who becomes withdrawn into her shell, and is less cheerful than her usual self.

Now, just to get her character right, Sonam started keeping herself locked in her room and stopped mingling with everyone on the sets.

Thus, insiders revealed that she was becoming very depressed and it was showing on her personality.

As soon as her dad Anil Kapoor heard about this, he immediately cancelled all his plans. Took a straight flight to Vancouver, to be with his daughter, to give her a boost of positive energy.

This gesture did help his darling daughter Sonam to become cheerful, and Anil’s jokes and lighthearted talks, cheered the other unit members of the film as well.
