Amisha Patel’s special gift for Sanjay Dutt’s wife: Amisha Patel has got a friend for life in Maanyata Dutt, the dear wife of Sanjay Dutt.

She even knew about Maanyata’s pregnancy before the world got the whiff of it.

Now, the bubbly actress, who is happy for her friend, has planned a surprise, and what is that? A lavish baby shower for Mana!

The baby shower which is reportedly going to happen next week is expected to be attended by Sanjay’s sisters, Namrata and Priya, along with some close friends. Amisha is taking care of every detail and has also sent cute cup cakes along with the invitation cards. She cheerily admits that it was her idea.

The venue for the baby shower is special too. Amisha took her father’s help and has booked the restaurant-cum-lounge bar Veda which is new in Mumbai and yet not open for commoners. So, it’s going to be a fun evening with friends for Ami. However, the godh bharai ceremony is planned for October, tells the actress to a tabloid.

Amisha Patel Gossips: Bollywood Hottest Actress Amisha Patel will celebrate her 34th birthday (June 9) this year with a gang of eight close gal pals in New York. Last year, Amisha had brought in her birthday at a resort and spa in Hampshire, England with beau Kanav Puri.

The actress loves to be pampered on her special day and always plans ahead. She even maintains a countdown to her birthday. She confesses, "I love to be spoilt on my birthdays."

She has decided to escape to NYC this year, "I am sick of the heat so most probably I won't be throwing any parties but instead might go on a holiday with my girl pals. I am thinking of bringing in my birthday in New York as I also have lots of friends there."

Initially she had planned a spa holiday in Bangkok and Phuket but later she scrapped that, "We are planning to go away for 10 days and currently it's too hot in Bangkok. We just want to have fun in a place which has pleasant weather. The married girls have promised to leave their husbands behind. We will eat, shop, bitch and let our hair down completely!"

In New York, she will also meet her school friend Shalini. "She's married to the cutest and most adorable baby. Another friend of mine Shabnam who is joining us has recently delivered a baby. They are my closest friends since childhood and the most grounded girls. Shalini doesn't even watch Hindi films. Her dream is to own the biggest warehouse of alcohol and her attitude in life is Dabao - dabake khao! I love spending time with them."
