Retro Fashion of Akshay Kumar and Aishwarya Rai in ‘Action Replayy’ Pics: It’s always fun to go back in time, in fiction and fashion, that is. Vipul Amrutlal Shah’s comedy Action Replayy also goes retro. So, we have the movie’s lead pair Aishwarya Rai and Akshay Kumar sporting chic, garish and vibrant clothes a la the 1960s and 70s, known for flower power, polka dots and the famous bell bottoms.

Action Replayy’s hero Akshay has reinvented his style for the film and in keeping with the theme has tried to make a bold 70s style statement. Shirts in bright red, pink, orange were part of his wardrobe. Aishwarya Rai’s clothes were no less stylish and glam. Designer Manish Malhotra actually researched a lot to dress up Ash for the film.

Action Replayy’s premiere at Dubai: Akshay-Aishwarya join the event: The biggest blockbuster this year ‘Action replayy’ is going to be release on friday. The two main stars of action replayy are in dubai for the premire of the film. Akshay Kumar and Aishwarya Rai are in the preparations of film promo and premiers.

Vipul shah said both akshay and aishwarya has a lota of friends around the world so its being a good thing for the movie. Akshay and aishwarya come back from dubai tomorrow for the further promotions of the film. Vipul shah go to aehamdabad to show the film to the cricket team they played match against New Zealand from tomorrow.

The two Action Replayy co-stars plugged their upcoming film, which releases in theaters on November 5, in addition to Akshay's TV show.

Aishwarya arrived for the presser at Filmcity, Goregaon, after attending the Cancer Patients Aid Association(CPAA) Rose day celebrations in Vile Parle, without an opportunity to change.

The 36-year-old former Miss World (1994) opted for a kurta with long sleeves, jeweled scoop neckline, and a flamboyant red border at the hem that came close to being incongruent. Her matching churidar and duppata had heavy golden borders.

She accessorized with black strappy heels and pearl hoop earrings.

Aishwarya's dark brown colored hair, styled in vertical waves, draped her left shoulder and framed her forehead. She wore glossy pink lipstick, thick eyeliner, golden eyeshadow and eyelash extensions.

Akshay, 43, dressed in a brown and yellow striped polo shirt and brown pants; he appeared jovial but for some reason hid his eyes behind dark sunglasses.

Akshay will be the judge on Masterchef, a local version of Top Chef reality cookery show.

In the days ahead, Akshay and Aishwarya will be frequently seen together plugging Action Replayy. A large part of the film is set in the 1970's. The two stars reportedly plan to do the honors as DJs at a local radio station, styled in 1970s makeovers and playing songs from what is often referred to as Bollywood's golden era.
