Amitabh won the first at the start of his career by bagging the coveted trophy for Best Promising Newcomer in Saat Hindustani. He later won Best Actor awards for his performances in Agneepath and Black.
Talking about winning his fourth National Award for Paa, Big B said a great deal of credit goes to the film’s director R. Balki who came up with the unique concept of making him (Big B) play a preteen with progeria.
The star also said that it was his son Abhishek Bachchan who “goaded” him into taking this role and also producing the film under AB Corp.
