Shahrukh Khan and Ranbir Kapoor: maybe Ranbir is not yet ready to take on SRK, mentally!

Bollywood3000 News: One a youth icon and the other a super hit King of bollywood, now who would not want to launch he two greatest figures of tinsel town together.

Well, this could be the ideal super cool lead characters of any commercially viable flick, but guess who came up with the idea first? No points for guessing that it is none other than Karan Johar!

The director, reportedly had gone and approached Ranbir for a flick with the two most successful iconic stars of today, but in spite of liking the script to a great extent, Ranbir Kapoor put a pin in the balloon even before it could be blown up.

According to sources, the star had a few doubts in coming at parallel roles with such a big established star as Shahrukh.

Suggestions are that Ranbir had denied the role, as he was sure that Shahrukh being such a legend, would surely get more preference, projection and grab more eyeballs and that would leave Ranbir feeling like a new comer, with just a little attention. He said that he would rather wait for the right time, which will be when he reaches SRK’s status, so that he would not feel intimidated by the super stars larger than life shadow!

Now, call it what one may wish to, It surely is a case of loss to the audiences, maybe Ranbir is not yet ready to take on SRK, mentally ,we mean!
