Rakesh Roshan Gossips: With his film Kites soaring high at the moment, with several red carpet premieres taking place all across the globe for Rakesh Roshan, the director and the producer in him is having the best laugh.
But when we quizzed him about Hrithik Roshan's presence in the world famous Madame Tussauds just days before they attend the red carpet premiere of Kites in London's West End, Rakesh Roshan said, "As a father, why wouldn't I want my son to be immortalised in wax?
If the concerned people from the museum think that he has what it takes to fit in with other Indian celebrities then why not. I would love to see Hrithik Roshan one day in Madame Tussauds."
The father further quoted, "What speaks about Hrithik is his work. It's not his built, his charming personality and his physical attributes. I guess his work is his main popularity. Hrithik isn't doing easy films to get away with it. His directors are coming up to him with much more than what he has. That's why he has been doing films like Jodhaa Akbar, Kites and now Guzaarish."
When further quizzed on his son's most challenging roles, the father replied, "I believe somebody saw Guzaarish for half an hour and told me that I will forget Hrithik Roshan in Kites, Jodhaa Akbar and his films. The person had so much conviction that he told me that I'll be seeing a whole new Hrithik Roshan emerge from Guzaarish. A person is just lying on the bed and making you laugh in the film and then making you cry in the film is what Hrithik is doing in Guzaarish he told me. It's insane."
If Kites is making Hrithik fly high, father Rakesh is at the peak with the fresh inputs of his son's performance in Guzaarish. And further, if the son is waxed in Madame Tussauds, that'll surely take the family on cloud nine. All in all, an upward graph is what we see for Hrithik Roshan for the many more years to come.
