Bollywood3000 News: Bollywood Hottest Babes Katrina Kaif, who had announced her ambitious project to launch an album for kids aimed at helping her mother’s charity, is not singing in the album as reported by many.
Katrina is, in fact, the narrator of the album that will contain nursery rhymes. What’s more interesting is that Katrina, who has tied up with a music company for her venture titled Rhymeskool with Katrina Kaif, is also teaming up with the record company to launch a TV reality talent show.
Katrina says, “This is a project that is very close to my heart. It is different and there are many good points attached to it. The kids will have a nursery rhymes album that will be fresh and very new from what they have been hearing so far. I will promote this album like I promote a movie.”
BR Vijayalakshmi, general manager — audio visual media of the record company, says, “We wanted to bring in a well-known face that would immediately connect with little children. The objective was to give the child a friend who would take them through the magical journey of rhymes. Katrina Kaif’s popularity amongst kids and her affable style and persona onscreen made her the right fit for such a project.”
Kat will also closely watch all the talent in the show that has been conceived by the same music company. Percussionist Bickram Ghosh and singer Suchitra Krishnamurthy will judge the kids in the show. The winner will get an opportunity to sing in Katrina’s album whose music has been composed by AR Rahman.
