Ra.One Title Role: SRK hand over to Arjun Rampal: If you think Shahrukh Khan plays the title role in his forthcoming film Ra.One, think again. The latest we hear is that it's not Shahrukh but Arjun Rampal, who plays the character named Ra.One.

It is reported that Shahrukh plays double role in the film, one of which is a scientist who creates two robots – the good one named G.One and the bad one named Ra.One. Shahrukh plays G.One and Arjun plays Ra.One.

Director Anubhav Sinha revealed that Shahrukh plays the role of G.One but refused to reveal further. Shahrukh produces the film besides playing the lead role along with Arjun Rampal and Kareena Kapoor.

Arjun Rampal News: Bollywood Actor Arjun Rampal needs to keep his new look for Ra.1 out of the public eye. He’s now taking off for a month-long vacation away from prying eyes.

It’s been a stressful time for Arjun Rampal. While waiting for the verdict on his latest film Raajneeti, he was also trying to hide his look for Anubhav Sinha’s Ra.1.

Groans Arjun, “It isn’t easy wearing a cap in this heat. But while promoting Raajneeti I had to make sure my Ra.1 look doesn’t get revealed. Both Shahrukh and I have a particular look for the film. And I guess we both need to keep it hidden from the public.”

It isn’t surprising to know Arjun’s two daughters are his biggest fans and that his wife, Meher, thinks he has given his career’s best performance in Raajneeti. Chuckles Arjun, “My daughters found Raajneeti a little too intense for their liking. When they’re a little older I hope to sit and watch it with them. In fact, my whole endeavour is to create a body of work that my wife and kids can be proud of.”

And now Arjun is off on a month long holiday with the three girls in his life. “It’s an annual ritual. We always take a vacation during the daughters’ summer vacation. We’re leaving for London on 20 June. From there we’re heading for Greece. Just the four of us.”

Arjun is holidaying after receiving lots of critical acclaim for Raajneeti. “I guess the National Award for Rock On gave me the confidence to face the camera with all the National Award winners in Raajneeti. The feedback for Raajneeti is tremendous. It’s important for me to pick parts that take me beyond Rock On and Raajneeti. Since unconventional films are being accepted, why do hackneyed or clicked roles?”

Arjun Rampal News: Bollywood Biggest stars from Amitabh Bachchan to Shahrukh Khan to Salman Khan have confirmed their presence at the upcoming International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) awards 2010 but Arjun Rampal will miss it.

Arjun can’t attend the event, as he is going to promote his upcoming release Raajneeti by Prakash Jha, which has invited lots of controversies including his love-making scene with a theatre actress. He cleared it on his Twitter page, “Will not be going to IIFA, have a charity event in Hong Kong for Raajneeti that day.”

Arjun had earlier said that he had observed young politicians like Rahul Gandhi, Sachin Pilot, Milind Deora, the young Rajiv Gandhi and the young Sanjay Gandhi to know their mannerism and body language for his role in the film.

Raajneeti, which is releasing on June 4, also features Ranbir Kapoor, Katrina Kaif, Ajay Devgn, Naseeruddin Shah, Manoj Bajpai and Nana Patekar.

The actor was spotted wearing a cap at the Raajneeti press conference on Saturday.

Apparently, is it said that Arjun will be sporting a bald look in the film with a temporary tattoo on his neck. Giving a hint about his latest look was the man himself on twitter saying, "Feeling light headed...no pun intended..thanks to the director producer...can't give out too much. Sounds random, but then u need access. 1"

We guess bald is the new beautiful for this Bollywood hunk known for his mane.

Shah Rukh Khan Coordinates with hot Kareena and Arjun for dates!

Shah Rukh Khan, the badshah of bollywood who plays lead in Red Chillies Entertainment’s upcoming flick ‘ Ra.1’ opposite sizzling hot Kareena Kapoor, has been calling up and coordinating her and Arjun Rampal’s dates for the shoot before going on the set.

Shah Rukh Khan’s extra work does not stop here but he has to go all the way asking his technicians for details, if anything was needed on the set to give the required special effects etc (this is important as the film is sci fi and special effects are most important part of it).

Sources close to production house say that Shah Rukh Khan even discusses payment issues with his stars and ensures that they were paid on time without any hassles. Though some of extra work load has also been taken by director Anubhav Sinha, but it is Shah Rukh Khan who has been playing the double role of actor as well as producer and provider of everything to everyone on the sets of the flick.

This all has been necessitated by the fact that Shah Rukh Khan’s most trusted man Bobby Chawla, who is also actress Juhi Chawla’s brother, has been in the hospital for a long time and is unable to perform his duties.

Earlier, Shah Rukh Khan would totally depend on the work of Bobby Chawla who was also the CEO of Red Chillies Entertainment. Shah Rukh Khan was even by the side of Bobby Chawla at the hospital for several days, but eventually work got priority and he returned to shoot for Anubhav Sinha’s ‘Ra.1’.

‘Ra 1’ is an ambitious flick from Shah Rukh Khan’s production house starring Shah Rukh Khan, Kareena Kapoor, Arjun Rampal and others in prominent roles. Shah Rukh Khan plays a famous scientist in the film, who is based in London and working on developing a robot.

The trouble starts after Shah Rukh Khan has developed the ‘Robot’and his own creation would not listen to him. So much so that the Robot becomes a menace to whole world and the scientist prepares to remove him from this world.

Kareena Kapoor plays Shah Rukh Khan’s wife who stays with him in London. The couple also has an eight year old son. However, this mother role does not restrict Kareena Kapoor from flaunting her beautiful figure in designer’s outfit as the mom is based in UK and does not need to follow Indian wear sari etc.

The film will also see for the first time Shah Rukh Khan playing the part of a super hero in his bollywood career.

Arjun Rampal gave his overcoat to Katrina Kaif when she was Shivering!

This time is for dashing Bollywood Actor Arjun Rampal not Ranbir Kapoor, who came to the rescue  of Katrina Kaif when she was crisis.

The whole of Rajneeti team was present to attend the press conference on Saturday evening. Dressed in a short and sleeveless, Katrina realized that she was shivering because the cold air from AC was on full blast. Katrina decided to share her feelings with co star Ranbir Kapoor and Arjun Rampal who were present with her on stage.

While Ranbir Kapoor did not anything except from nodding his head, Arjun was at his chivalrous best when he took off his black overcoat and gave it to Katrina. The sexy actress did not waste a single minute in grabbling it and placed it on her bare legs.

After some time veteran actor Nana Patekar too, made the same request with the hotel authorities.

It was at this press conference that Ranbir declared that he has spent some memorable moments with Arjun Rampal and he has found his brother for life in him. The two hunks and director Prakash Jha, too, were in all praises for Katrina.

The director went to say that she has worked very hard for the movie and the critics will love her performance in this political saga.

Katrina Kaif found too cold, Arjun Rampal help to keep Warm her!

Katrina Kaif received a warm welcome at a media meet to promote her upcoming “Raajneeti” here Saturday evening, but the cold blast from the air conditioner had her shivering, until co-actor Arjun Rampal gallantly took off his coat and offered it to her.

Dressed in a short, sleeveless, pink dress, Katrina found it too cold at the venue.

“It’s way too cold here. It’s so cold!” Katrina was seen whispering to Ranbir Kapoor and Arjun Rampal on the stage.

While Ranbir chose to nod his head, Arjun displayed chivalry by taking off his black overcoat and handed it to Katrina. She immediately grabbed it and placed it on her legs, which were hidden behind a table on the stage.

Moments later, actor Nana Patekar too was seen trying to get the temperature in control by requesting hotel officials to do the needful.

“Raajneeti” is a dark political drama and features Manoj Bajpai, Ajay Devgn, Naseeruddin Shah, apart from Nana, Arjun, Ranbir and Katrina, who plays the role of a politician. The movie has been directed by Prakash Jha, known for his realistic films like “Mrityudand”, “Gangaajal” and “Apharan”, and is slated for release in June.
