Kareena Kapoor is a bankable actress: We Are Family’ that hits theatres on 2nd September will be a landmark-sought of a film for Kareena Kapoor as she completes her 40 films with this remake of Stepmom. And, it’s Kajol and Karan Johar who helped her reach this figure in the flick.

In fact, Kareena appears pretty animated as she gushes, “WE ARE FAMILY is one of my best works undoubtedly. I have got an opportunity to portray a different image of myself in the film. I’m playing a mother and the fact that it marks the 40th film of my career makes it extra special for me.”

But the question is- Is she a reliable and bankable actress now that she is in the tinsel world for quite a few years? Kareena, actually, is a damn good actress- in fact better than even Priyanka Chopra or Aishwarya Rai.

Her dialogue delivery is sublime, her emotional display is peerless. It’s only that her choices of films haven’t been too good. Besides, she has been done away due to flaws of script or director. In many a films like ‘Asoka’, ‘Dev’  and ‘Yaadein’ (to name a few), she has given a heartfelt performance and a commendable one. However, it’s unfortunate that her power-packed performances couldn’t translate into a hit.

However, with appreciated films like ‘Omkara’, ‘Jab We Met’ and ‘Chameli’, she ddid prove that she is here to stay. Hence, it’s no wonder that she commands a hefty fee and is still flooded with film and commercial offers.
