Katrina Kaif takes Firm Charge of her Acting Career and wants Meatier Roles

Katrina Kaif News: Katrina Kaif, the sizzling hot firang bollywood babe who rocked in Prakash Jha’s ‘Raajneeti’ opposite Ranbir Kapoor, has decided to take firm charge of her acting career and wants meatier roles from the filmmakers, if they wanted her in their projects.
A case in point is Zoya Akhtar’s ongoing project ‘Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara’, wherein Katrina was cast more for her fabulous looks than acting skills and she was expected to just seduce the main character in the film. Kalki was another actor signed to act serious part in the same film.

But after the success of ‘Raajneeti’ everything has changed and now Katrina wants to renegotiate her character. Sources from Spain, where shooting of the film is in progress, say that director Zoya Akhtar had already started adding Katrina Kaif’s part more and more wherever possible as she did not want to anger the gorgeous actress.

Even in the remake of ‘Seeta aru Geeta’, Katrina Kaif had her way when deciding about the director Anees Bazmee to take charge of the film. The role in this Hema Malini’s iconic film has been modified to suit Katrina’s personality.

Katrina has made it clear to producers and directors that if they wanted her to act in their films, they should stopped treating her like Barbie doll in their films and assign meatier roles.
It is for this reason that Katrina Kaif has walked out of Anurag Basu’s upcoming project ‘Silence’, Anees Bazmee’s ‘Thank you’ and Shristi Arya’s remake of ‘Bride Wars’ etc.

Earlier, Katrina Kaif’s would accept movies if the actor or banner was big, but no more. Now, after the super success of ‘Raajneeti’ at the box office, Katrina Kaif wants to make some meaningful contribution to her films instead of just being satisfied with a glamorous image.
