Yes, a janta poll is in progress for the child character, but as per reports it’s the Jamshedpur girl Pratyusha Banerjee who will replace Avika Gor (child Anandi) in the daily soap.

Pratyusha was the first one in the fray and rumours are ripe that she is the new Anandi, but later the channel introduced a new twist and gave the viewers other possible Anandis. They are Nivedita Tiwari from Lucknow and Ketaki Chitale from Mumbai. All the three girls are young debutantes.

Nevertheless, Pratyusha is still a strong contender and she stands a better chance to win the poll for she is emerging as the favourite.
