Salman Khan do not remembering Zarine Khan!: After sharing screen space with Salman Khan in Veer, actress Zarine Khan has not bagged many plum offers. She is now thinking of signing a new project by a first-time director.

Last year she was in the news for her first film Veer and for her facial resemblance to Katrina Kaif; but with the Veer debacle her newfound fame waned. Now, the question arises, has Salman Khan, who discovered her, has forgotten the lady? He is the star who is known in the industry to promote the struggling actors and actresses and help them get work.

It was rumoured that Zarine will again work with Salman in Sajid Nadiadwala’s next film Kick, but now Sonakshi Sinha, who made her debut with Dabangg, is the leading lady of the film. As Zarine tells a tabloid, “Dabangg was the biggest hit of the year while Veer did not do well. So the scenario changes completely.”

Zarine claims that after Veer she was offered various films but couldn’t make up her mind. Now, she has read the script of a movie titled Cocaine and has liked it. She might sign it. The movie will be directed by the first-time director Guru Sharma, cousin of music director of Saawariya, Monty Sharma.

The actress has even shed extra kilos now, which she gained for Veer, and is starting afresh in Bollywood.

Mumbai Mirror bakes hot and fresh, “Heads turned when Zarine and Salman walked in together. And soon enough, there were hushed whispers doing the rounds at the party. Zarine was lugging on to Salman sleeve throughout the party. Though he spent most of his time talking to Aamir, he didn’t mind her presence at all.”

Now, though some call him unlucky in love (much like many of his films like Saajan or Kuch Kuch Hota Hai), one wonders if Zarine Khan may just phase out to be the next Katrina Kaif chapter. Lust, love, filmdom and then goodbye..

The actress Zarine Khan created waves with her debut along with Salman Khan in Veer, though the movie didn't do wonders for her as she is now back to square one.

Nowadays, Zarine Khan is busy attending fashion shows and other events, but in spite of hectic schedule, the girl takes out time every night post work to make sure her make-up man, spot boy and driver have dinner at her house.

Reveals a source close to the actress, "Though Zarine is a star now, success has never got to her head. She is still very grounded and considerate of her spot boy, make up person, driver and those people she interacts with on a day-to-day basis. In fact she insists on them having dinner with her and only then does she allow them to leave."
