Vivek Oberoi have no time for his honeymoon!: More than two months have passed since Vivek Oberoi got married to Priyanka Alva, but the couple aren’t able to set off for a proper honeymoon yet.

First, Vivek got busy in the promotion of Rakta Charitra and postponed his honeymoon to mid-November. Though he did whisk Priyanka off to Aamby Valley for a few days, the couple mostly stayed put in the house in Mumbai gifted them by Vivek’s parents.

Then came the New Year’s eve and Vivek was again busy in preparing for his performance at the Country Club bash in Dubai. Again, he squeezed out time to take Priyanka out for a romantic candle-light dinner at the elite restaurant Le Petit Maison. The couple had more outings on the 1st and 2nd Jan in Dubai. They were then supposed to fly off for a long honeymoon at Red Sea in the Arabian Peninsula.

But the trip was cancelled because Vivek accepted the invitation to the opening exhibition tennis match at Chennai Open. Once again the honeymoon was interrupted.

We hear that Vivek has promised his incredibly patient and understanding wife that he will make up for the missed honeymoon by taking her to exotic places throughout the year.

At the time of his marriage, he had said he would like to honeymoon at a place where he can fly planes and his wife can do deep-sea diving.

Vivek Oberoi ready for honeymoon with his wife

Vivek Oberoi ready for honeymoon with his wife: Mixing work with honeymoon! That’s what Vivek Oberoi will be doing as he rings in 2011.

It’s been more than a month since Vivek married Bangalore’s Priyanka Alva. However, unlike other newly-weds, the duo did not vamoose off for a honeymoon. Rather, Vivek kept being busy with professional commitments and the promotion of Rakht Charitra - 2.

Now that the film has released Vivek is finally set to spend days and weeks with his wife alone. But work still doesn’t seem to leave him.

The actor is set to perform on Dec 31 for the Country Club New Year bash in Dubai. And accompanying him would be his wife Priyanka.

After the New Year eve the couple would then head for their honeymoon. We hear their destination would be Red Sea in the Arabian peninsula right between Egypt and Saudi Arabia.

‘Rakta Charitra 2’ releases today: Rakht Charitra - 2 the much anticipated sequel to Rakta Charitra releases today. South film star Suriya makes his Bollywood in this controversial film directed by Ram Gopal Varma.

Rakta Charitra starring Vivek Oberoi had performed well in Andhra Pradesh but could only manage a below average response in other parts of the country. The movie is inspired by the story of the slain political leader Paritala Ravi of Andhra Pradesh.

The music of Rakta Charitra 2 is average and the film is less violent that the first part. However, Tamil hero Suriya is believed to have performed exceptionally well in the movie.

Overall the film is expected to outperform Rakta Charitra.

The marriage was a grand affair, where noted artistes and musicians kept the guests entertained.
