Amitabh Bachchan's next film 'Boodha' - Old age benefit!

Amitabh Bachchan's next film 'Boodha' - Old age benefit!: Whenever a role demands a change, Amitabh Bachchan doesn’t hesitate a bit and here is the great actor all set to sport a very stylish look with coloured beard in his next film Boodha.

As the name suggests the movie is about an old man (boodha), who feels young as a 25-year-old. The film will be directed by the Telugu director Puri Jagannath. For the role Big B has happily agreed to dye his hair as well as bread in vibrant colours. While talking to a daily about Big B’s looks, Puri says, “That’s right. Bachchan Sir is going totally psychedelic for his part in Boodha.”

The enthused Bachchan is also thinking of borrowing some fashion accessories from his son Abhishek Bachchan’s wardrobe. However, what colour Amitabh will sport is yet to be decided, either it would be red or a mix of different colours. But it would be his wig rather than real hair that will have the psychedelic look.

To be a boy of 12 or young man of 25, Big B rocks at 68!

Amitabh-Abhishek-Aishwarya Rai enjoying London chill

Amitabh-Abhishek-Aishwarya Rai enjoying London chill: Just yesterday we reported about Abhishek being alone in Europe while Ash was seen with her pa-in-law Amitabh Bachchan at the award functions over the last week. Well, now the family has come together again in London, as this pic shows.
Abhi was recently spotted attending the Milan Fashion Week alone. And Big B too recently escaped an emergency situation in a London hotel where he had been staying.

Guess the trio’s stay in London is turning out to be quite eventful.

Amitabh Bachchan hosting more KBC next seasons

Amitabh Bachchan hosting more KBC next seasons: Little wonder then that he’s been roped in by Sony Entertainment Television to host two more seasons of the show.

“Sony and I have signed on for KBC for the next two seasons... your blessings and encouragement needed in abundance!” Amitabh posted on his Twitter page.

It was Amitabh who first launched the show in 2000. He returned as its host for the second season in 2005 but was replaced by Shahrukh Khan in the show’s third season, but the audience response wasn’t as phenomenal as expected.

Last year, Big B returned as the host and revived the show and took its TRPs beyond those of other prime time shows, including Bigg Boss 4.

Sony Entertainment has confirmed that Big B has been signed to host two more seasons of the show. The fifth season will go on air this year only.

Amitabh Bachchan's No for IIFA brand ambassador

Amitabh Bachchan's No for IIFA brand ambassador: Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan, who has been the brand ambassador of the International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) Awards since their inception in 2000, will no longer perform the role - and the concept itself has been dropped.

"Due to unexplainable reasons, after announcing the event, Mr. Bachchan couldn’t participate in the IIFA Weekend in Sri Lanka last year. Following this, IIFA aborted the concept of a Brand Ambassador," Sabbas Joseph, director, Wizcraft entertainment that organizes the event, said in a statement.

"Keeping in mind the huge respect that Wizcraft and IIFA have for Mr. Bachchan and the deep relationship that we’ve always shared, we are not having anyone replace Mr. Bachchan."

"The Bachchan family has been an intrinsic part of IIFA every year, and in this regard we have already shared with them a proposal about their participation this year too. Mr Bachchan’s reason for non-participation is best known to him. IIFA and Mr.Bachchan are inseparable. We will continue to pursue his participation for this year too," Joseph said.

However, there could be more to this than meets the eye as Amitabh confirmed the parting of ways on his Twitter account but put the onus on the IIFA. Tweeting, “Not coming to Toronto IIFA…IIFA says my services are not required.”
