Action Replayy Music Review
Action Replayy Music Review: This festive season, Vipul Amrutllal Shah comes with Action Raplayy with the promise to entertain us. And after listening to the songs one would want to rewind the whole album.
It has been long overdue to Pritam’s fans; his last few releases couldn’t make much impact and were plainly disheartening for music buffs. With Action Replayy he has again earned his stripes as the best entertaining music composer and who else to give him company on lyrics than his best partner in rhyme Irshad Kamil.
Shaadi se accha tum le lo phaasi! The album starts with a thump as Zor Ka Jhatka throbs. The terrific song is laudable for its peppy music, which is a mix of retro and contemporary, and for spirited singing by Daler Mehndi and Richa Sharma. The funny prelude to the song which uses shehnai makes the song more entertaining. Single jhatka wasn’t enough and here is double dhamaka. The remix version of the song adds to the fun quotient of the album.
With O Bekhabar, feel love in the air, as the romance-eyed protagonists enact the clichéd running around the trees in the song. Shreya Ghosal’s mellifluous rendition is affable, that’s what makes the song fit for every ear.
He made us ‘twist’ early on and Pritam now presents an exciting rock n roll number Nakhre in the voice of Francois Castellino. DJ A-Myth’s remix version is high on entertainment. Aawaz Niche Kar, no way! Let’s move to the next track.
Taste the fervor of old festive songs with Chhan Ke Mohalla which easily takes you to the bygone decade with its nostalgic music. The dhapli beats and the use of folk music in the song make it a must in your playlist. Doubts! then hear the song twice to fully appreciate Sunidhi Chauhan and Ritu Pathak’s voice. Chhan Ke Mohalla (Tiger Remix), a mellowed down version of the original, also works for the Bollywood music lovers.
The next offering Tera Mera Pyaar is a bit different because it lacks the heady mix of retro. The track is more like a Bollywood love ballad - soft and very soothing to hear. The song will definitely have its female takers. The Hyacinth Remix of the song makes for a ‘kewl’ disc number.
Mika again gets it right with Dhak Dhak Dhak and you feel the tremendous energy rushing through your veins as the music sets you in celebration mood. Pritam introduces a bit of pop music in the album with Luk Chup Jaana. Tusli Kumar’s sassy voice does full justice to the number, and as KK wields the microphone, don’t we know it’s going to be first-rate.
This album exposes audiences to various sounds and music. So if you think rock or hip-hop is missing, here is Suraj Jagan singing I Am Dog Gone Crazy which will fulfill your desire to listen something that’s full of verve, typical of Pritam as he is a master in mixing and producing. And boys, there is no need to feel offended.
Baki Main Bhool Gayi continues the musical extravaganza. Shreya Ghosal gets to croon the song which seems to be inspired by popular Madhuri Dixit number Mera Piya Ghar Aaya. With this song the album comes to an end.
The music score of Action Replayy justifies the title of the film and makes us want to rewind whatever we hear. It’s a fun-filled, thrilling experience, highly enjoyable in every beat and moment. So, just let your hair down and replay the entire music album. Once more!

Akshay Kumar Injured after playing deejay!
Akshay Kumar Injured after playing deejay!: Akshay Kumar was reportedly injured in a melee as he made his way out of a club Saturday night after doing the honors as deejay to plug his upcoming film Action Replayy.
Akshay sustained minor injuries on his arms, legs and back as he, his co-star Aditya Roy Kapoor, and director Vipul Shah made their way out through an irate mob of fans who had been denied entry into the club.
Luckily, Akshay's leading lady in the film, Aishwarya Rai, wasn't with him as planned.
The two were scheduled to play their favorite songs from the 1970s to promote their film, an ode to the era. However, Aishwarya dropped out and Akshay went ahead with the planned promotion alone.
Fans began to gather at the club as news spread that Akshay was there. The star had planned to stay for just 20 minutes but stayed much longer, which turned out to be a mistake since fans kept pouring in.
The small club was soon filled to capacity and the staff locked the doors, which infuriated the young fans. They started to pelt stones, shattering glass and breaking furniture.
Akshay and his party made their way out through a back door where there was a smaller crowd.
Askhay seems to have taken the incident in his stride. The news wasn't immediately reported because Akshay told his party not to talk about it.
"Achcha nahin lagta. They were well-meaning fans," Bollywood Hungama quotes him as saying.
"Hota hai. It was good fun. I got to play my favorite John Travolta track," Akshay added.

Aishwarya Rai's Action Replayy 'O Bekhabar' Song Promo first attraction
Aishwarya Rai's Action Replayy 'O Bekhabar' Song Promo first attraction: Aishwarya Rai completely steals the show in the recently released promo for the song 'O Bekhabar' from Action Replayy.
The song and dance sequence is set in the early eighties, something you are reminded about when you see Akshay Kumar's attire, not when you see Aishwarya's - She looks far too beautiful for you to notice anything else about her.
We did notice what she was wearing though - because we saw the freaking promo scores of times - and we loved Aishwarya's colorful attire, mostly saris.
Even more, we loved the way Aishwarya tried to do justice to the retro theme of the film with exaggerated hip movements while dancing.
The film is due in theaters on November 5.

Aishwarya Rai avoid her short dresses in Action Replayy song 'Zor Ka Jhatka'
Aishwarya Rai avoid her short dresses in Action Replayy song 'Zor Ka Jhatka': The Action Replayy song Zor Ka Jhatka has started creating ripples because of its catchy tune and visually striking video. This is the first song of the album to be released and Aishwarya Rai is seen dancing in a glamorous short dress with Akshay Kumar in it.
Though the beautiful actress ups the oomph in the song, we have learnt that she was quite conscious of the length (or lack of it) of her dress while shooting the number.
The outfit with golden sequins is designed keeping in mind the retro fashion of the ’70s and is a lot similar to the pop diva Beyonce Knowles’s hot shimmery dress from her music video Upgrade You. In fact, Ash even watched a few of Beyonce’s videos to learn some racy steps.
As a source reveals, Ash didn’t allow anyone to take full-length picture of herself in that dress while shooting the song. The actress apparently wasn’t comfortable as the dress was too short. Nevertheless, we enjoyed watching her in Zor Ka Jhatka.
